I’m Margie McEwen, owner and director of VetPrac, a continuing education company for vets, nurses and techs. I believe education needs to take place in a space where everyone feels safe, supported, and, most importantly, respected.
This belief is at the heart of our mission to provide high-quality, attainable continuing education for all veterinary professionals, regardless of their background, location, needs, or personal circumstances.
The beautiful thing about our amazing VetPrac team is that we have created the space to explore and implement new ideas that are responsive to the needs of the community. We have ongoing heartfelt conversations about challenges impacting continuing education and the veterinary professionals who could benefit from our CPD.
I am passionate about everyone having a voice and the opportunity to learn and grow. Listening to the voice of our community was the stimulus for us to create and offer flexible payment plans to better support our participants.
Investing in education is a big commitment, and financial barriers should not hold anyone back. I am dedicated to providing integrative learning for our participants and we recognise the tremendous value in having individuals with diverse backgrounds attend our education programs. This diversity enhances the experience for everyone, bringing different perspectives, ideas, and ways of thinking to the table.
